NoticeBored Lite is a new information security awareness product aimed particularly at Small to Medium -sized Enterprises (SMEs) with up to 500 employees. We have long wanted to introduce an SME version of our NoticeBored product but the cost of administering the licenses, sales processing and monthly deliveries made the whole proposition uneconomic - until now. We’ve found a way to cut the minimum charge, making NoticeBored accessible to even the smallest micro business.

We know that SMEs have similar information security threats, vulnerabilities and impacts to larger organizations but fewer if any IT staff. Information security management in the SME environment is often down to the diligence of the individuals involved. Many SMEs rely on third party IT support organizations whose are driven by commission on hardware and software sales rather than a desire to secure their clients. Few have tested contingency plans or security policies. Being an SME ourselves, we appreciate the problems of scale.

We are pleased now to announce NoticeBored Lite, a unique security awareness product for SMEs. It’s main features are shown by comparison to the normal NoticeBored product in the following table:

Delivers the four core modules covering viruses, email security, social engineering and network security, plus the induction module. That’s five modules in total per year.	Delivers twelve monthly modules including the four core modules, plus the induction module i.e. thirteen modules per year.
The materials are provided as “read only” Acrobat PDF files. Changes are not permitted.	The materials are provided as standard editable MS Office files, JPGs etc. allowing customers to customize or adapt the content.
The induction module is delivered at the start of the subscription. The core modules are delivered in successive calendar quarters as they are released.	The induction module and first monthly awareness module are delivered at the start of the subscription. Thereafter additional modules are delivered regularly at the start of each calendar month.
Customers enter into a standard “shrink wrapped” license agreement that does not permit changes to be made to the NoticeBored materials. No variations to the license will be accepted.	Customers enter into a more detailed license that permits the NoticeBored materials to be customized and adapted by customers. License terms are negotiable.
The NoticeBored Lite subscription costs US$999 per year, a fixed flat charge for any organization with no more than 500 employees.	The price varies according to the size of organization, measured by the total number of employees, starting at US$1,650 per year for organizations with no more than 500 employees.
